I need a new antenna for my laptop..
I was looking at Alpha Network ones:

AWUS052NH (Details)
or
AWUS052NHS (Details)

Have anyone ever used one of these?
Of course I need a linux compatible antenna that could be used for wifi cracking.

Any suggestions???

Alfa's work great on linux out of the box... pretty much any of them will plug and play.

Windows and Mac on the other hand... not so much. I've got 2. Both run well on Linux. Only one runs on the latest Windows, and neither run on any type of Mac afaik.

Oh and I have not used either of those 2... but they both use the RT3572 chipset which seems to be one of the more popular chipsets for all that wireless crap you want.
I don't care about windows, so I'm pointing in the right direction. Next month I'm gonna buy one and let you all know how it works..
I have an ALFA AWUS036H and it is great for war sitting. For actual connectivity it didn't work well would always disconnect.
U might also wanna try Alfa + Yagi for more range
