where can I find this dependency for Ubuntu so that I can install my printer?
#1
So there's this printer that isn't working with Ubuntu 20.04. There is a driver for it but I need a special dependency installed and I look for it and there's no .deb file for the dependency, although I have found mention of the dependency online. This driver installer program requires the dependency and so here is my output just to show you:

Code:

Why go for installing driver, i guess it should run with the default cups service itself.

try installing cups service, it listens on port 631 tcp with a web interface, where you can configure printers

It's been a while since I fixed the problem but in short, I got it working. You were right about cups.

Thanks.
