Have any of you made a backdoor on VMWARE ESXi?
#1
I am not very good at linux.

I created an account on the above, because it does not open the ssh service by default, I want to create a scheduled task to open and close the ssh service.

Then I ran into a lot of troubles:
Code:
crontab  -e
crontab: not found

service cron status
service: not found

yum install initscripts
yum: not found

touch /etc/yum.conf
cd yum-3.2.28
./yummain.py install yum
  File "./yummain.py", line 74
    except Errors.LockError, e:
                          ^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax

I want to install crontab and service commands on it, but I don’t know how to do it. Undecided

The server is running python3.5

Is root

Alas, I don’t want to analyze the code. I think for this kind of customized kernel system, some software may not be installed. I want to see if there are other ways to put the backdoor.

yum relies on py2 iirc
dont know enough context of the scenario to give any other advice though.

Copy a service from kali to bin, it can be used.
I think it's best that other software can do the same
